2016 Neighborhood Events
I am sure everybody thinks their hometown, neighborhood is the best, in my neighborhood, we have so much fun and we all happen to live within blocks of each other. It’s an eclectic group of folks and we are all up for a good time. We did “movie night” under the stars at Gary and Susan’s.
Camping in our area is most everyone's favorite pastime. We have so many locations and they are mostly all great. We eat better camping than we do at home. I am getting better at dutch oven cooking over briquettes and working on perfecting Chili Rellenos Casserole. I will post recipes later.

One of the most fun events is a birthday part bash at the railroad tunnel in the Bizz Johnson Trail. At night after participants have packed in about 1 mile... LED lights, tents, food, libations…. there is a disco ball, strobe lights and a sound system. This is the tunnel Disco Dance Party. Jim brought his rocket push cart. This was a crazy idea that worked really well. It was so much fun.

Around Halloween we decided to do a "Roop Street" Pirate Crawl where we started at one end of Roop St. and ended up at the Lassen Ale Works for a fun evening and dancing. We had a great turnout and the costumes were great.
